Dr. Grant was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with five siblings and two Great Danes. Her passion for animals began at a young age. Her mom has a photo from her kindergarten graduation dressed as a Veterinarian, wearing a white coat and holding a stuffed puppy animal!

Growing up, she was fortunate enough to be owned by her loving Great Dane, Maui. In 2000, when Maui was diagnosed with lymphoma, Dr. Grant's dream of becoming a Veterinarian turned into determination as she knew she wanted to care for animals in need.

Dr. Grant joined the Huffard Team in 2017 as a Veterinary Technician after graduating from Salisbury University. In 2018, she was admitted into the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine while continuing to work at Huffard during Winter/Summer breaks. In 2022, Dr. Grant earned her DVM and graduated within the top 10 of her class.

In her free time, Dr. Grant enjoys home-cooked family dinners, riding horses, and boating! She also loves fishing, crabbing, and exploring on the water with her fiancé Zach and 6-year-old Newfoundland Koa. If she isn't with Zach and Koa, she is most likely back on the Eastern Shore visiting her family and their 3 Great Danes (Luna, Newton, & Rowan) and 2 Newfoundlands (Lola & Sully).
